Cynthia Murphy
About
Cynthia Murphy believes in life-long learning. She’s a native Hoosier who graduated from Northwood High School, Goshen College, and Indiana University.
The time she spent as a student in Lima, Peru nurtured her love of language and her passion for community work. She earned a B.A. in Social Work and later earned a Certificate in Paralegal Studies.
Cynthia has two decades of experience as an IUSB Academic Success Coach and Retention Counselor. Fluent in Spanish, she enjoys clarifying complex concepts in English and Spanish. In addition to her previous students, who feel like family, she is a proud mom to two GHS grads (Megan, Chelsey); and Nana to three grandchildren (Claire, Liam, and Tristyn).
