Loanne Harms

A longtime Goshen resident, Loanne has dedicated her career to children and young adults as an elementary teacher, toy and bookstore owner, and
youth pastor.

She is passionate about creating experiences and spaces that help young people grow into respectful, generous, and compassionate adults. She believes strong schools are essential to a thriving community and values diverse perspectives in leadership. Loanne is committed to supporting academics, athletics, and the arts while ensuring decisions are guided by the needs of students, educators, and families, recognizing both achievements and challenges as opportunities for growth. Loanne has served on local and national nonprofit boards. A skilled gardener and crafter, she enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion with others in the community. She’s also a devoted Notre Dame football fan.
